How is my account protected?

TradingBlock is a member of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), which protects securities customers of its members up to $500,000.00 (including a maximum of $250,000 for cash claims).

For Full Service Accounts, TradingBlock's clearing firm, Apex Clearing Corporation holds Excess SIPC Insurance coverage of $150 million in the aggregate, subject to maximum limits of $37.5 million for any one customer's securities, and $900,000 per customer in respect to cash.

How does TradingBlock protect my personal and account information?

TradingBlock is dedicated to protecting your personal account information. To this effect we have instituted the following security measures:

- Login Security: Encrypted identification and ID verification process.
- Network Security: Sophisticated firewalls, limited access.
- Site & Communications: Encrypted data, secured account access.

I forgot my account login credentials. What do I do?

Don't panic. Simply go to the login page and click the Forgot Password link. An email will be sent to the email address currently on file for your account. Follow the instructions in the email to complete the verification and change process. Please contact our Customer Service desk if you require assistance.

How can I change my password?

- Log in to your TradingBlock account using your current credentials.
- Go to the Account Management block.
- Click "Update Password".
- Enter the requested information in the dialogue window and click "Submit".

Does TradingBlock have any account minimums?

Cash Accounts: TradingBlock has no minimum balance for cash accounts (qualified and non-qualified) that remain active within the past 12 months. Note: Accounts deemed inactive with balances of less than $100 are subject to inactivity fees or closure.

Margin Accounts: $2,000 minimum balance required to open and maintain a margin account.

What are TradingBlock's margin policies?

TradingBlock maintains exchange-minimum margin requirements (Reg-T margin accounts). To review margin policies relative to a specific strategy, click here.

How soon can I start trading?

Immediately upon account funding. Use the Cash Transfers block to link your bank account and initiate deposits and withdrawals.
